If you didn’t know how to bake pumpkin seeds, you come to the right place. Pumpkin is one of those versatile fruits that you can make many different food items from. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread and of course baked pumpkin seeds as a healthy snack.
Cut open a fresh ripe pumpkin and take out all the seeds from it. Rinse all the seeds in cold water until you get rid of all the sticky membrane.
Preheat the oven to 350 degree F before you place pumpkin seeds inside it.
Dry all the pumpkin seeds using a dry paper towel and leave them on an open bowl to let them get dry until the oven gets ready.
Use a non sticky baking sheet or a foil paper (spread little oil on the surface) for pumpkin seeds baking. You can even use butter instead of cooking oil to coat the surface of seeds. Sprinkle a little salt if you prefer salty taste to your pumpkin seeds.
Put the baking sheet or foil paper along with all the seeds spread evenly inside the oven. Cook the seeds for 10-20 minutes until they become brown and slightly crisp.
Give them few minutes to cool down and become ready for serving. You can also store them in a container for later.
