Chicken can be prepared in multiple ways. Baked chicken, fried chicken or grilling it. My favorite way is to grill a chicken, because it brings out such great flavor. Follow my simple steps on how to grill chicken.
First, you’ll want to do is remove the giblets from the cavity of the chicken and then rinse it under cold water. Dry it with a few pats using a paper towel and then season the inside of it with salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons of minced basil, cilantro, rosemary, sage, tarragon and thyme.
Make sure your grill has a good bed of coal at the bottom, and get them heated up. Rake the coal all to one side because you will grill your chicken next to them.
Grab your brush and clean the grill with the wire brush. Using some thongs and holding a towel with it you will coat the grill rack with some oil, but keep it a thin layer.
Place your chicken breast on the unheated grill area. Cover the grill and let that cook for about 30 minutes. Turn your chicken breasts over and continue cooking it until the skin is golden brown and the meat is well cooked through.
To check when it is ready, cut the middle of a single piece of chicken.
