    Duplication is also one powerful tool which could have been included in list of 5 steps. Starting small, with baby sentences, removes the initial hesitation.

    I live in a small town at Chhattisgarh in India. Here, we get very few people with whom we can speak in English. How do we practise?

    If you don’t think in a language, you can’s speak that language. So THINK in English (eg. I am brushing my teeth.) When you listen to a conversation either on radio or television, be an active listener. Keep on exercising your ‘guessing muscles’. Many times your guessing will be wrong. Don’t worry. Even Einstein made mistakes. Carry on.
