If you love crepes and would love to make crepes, you have come to the right place. Crepes are basically a thin form of pancake. In this following article we will show you how to make crepes quickly and easily.
Ingredients you will need:
- 1 cup of flower
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- Oil and salt (salt is optional)
Tools we will need:
- Non sticky frying pan
Add all the ingredients in a bowl. Using the whisk, mix them properly and make sure there is no lump left. Refrigerate it for about half an hour.
Add little oil on the frying pan and turn the stove on to medium heat. Wait until the pan heats up.
Pour approximately ¼ cup of batter that you have created in step 1 and swirl the pan so that the mix will cover the entire pan surface.
Wait until the bottom of the crepe starts to harden. Flip it over once you see it’s brown enough and ready for the other side to be cooked. Once the both sides are fried properly, take it out and put it on a plate.
Keep it continue until you have enough. You may need to use little oil every 4th or 5th crepe. You can place crepes on top of each other. It will keep them warmer.
There are many ways to server crepes. But the basic crepe making process has already been discussed. You can serve warm crepes with a drizzle of maple syrup or spread with jam. If you want to server crepe as desert, make a wrap out of them and fill them up with fresh fruits or ice cream. Don’t forget to sprinkle with some confectioner sugar at the end.
