Potato is one of the most favorite dinner items in many countries. Baked potato, fried potato, mash potato etc. are few of the different verities of food menus made from potatoes. In this article we will discuss how to bake potatoes in simple few steps and get you ready to serve a warm, buttery delicious dinner every time.

Step 1:

Pick your choice to potatoes. Russet potatoes are known to be the best for baking. Select bruises and sprouts free potatoes to get the best taste from your baked potatoes.

Step 2:

Wash your potatoes really well with fresh cold water before doing anything else. You can use a scrubber if you want to. Use a strainer or even a simple bowl while you are washing them.

Step 3:

Take a fork and poke all the potatoes roughly 8-10 times to make small holes in them. It will help to cook the potatoes evenly.

Step 4:

At this step we need to coat the potatoes with cooking oil. Pour small amount of cooking oil into a bowl and mix them well so that all the potatoes will be evenly coated with oil.

Step 5:

Finally placed all the slightly oil coated potatoes on a baking pan or tray. If you prefer, you can sprinkle some regular salt or sea salt (amount is up to you) before you put them in the oven.

Step 6:

Preheat oven until temperature reaches 350 degrees F.

Step 7:

Put all the potatoes evenly at the middle of the oven on a baking sheet. Baking sheet is used to prevent dripping.

Step 8:

You can cook 4 large potatoes within an hour at this temperature. Before you take all the potatoes out from the oven, make sure their skins are crispy and well cooked.

Step 9:

After you take them out from the oven, it is the perfect time to add butter or margarine on your potatoes to give them little extra flavor. You should wait 3-4 minutes until the extremely hot baked potatoes cool down and become ready for serving.

A healthy breakfast that is simple for anyone to make, French toast! Enjoy this any morning with your family or friends and you’ll have a nice crisp breakfast, and very yummy! Don’t forget your maple syrup.

Steps on how to make French toast:

Step 1
Gather all your ingredients together, things can get messy and it’s fast to make. So be ready!

Step 2
Crack an egg inside a bowl and add milk and a dash of vanilla. Adjust the amount of milk and vanilla added for your own taste.

Step 3
Beat your eggs with a whisk or fork until your mix is nicely mixed.

Step 4
Heat your pan and add a good amount of oil. Around ¼ inch is a good lining. Oil is better than using butter on your pan. Set the heat to Medium high.

Step 5
Dip your sliced bread inside the bowl that contains the battered eggs. Make sure both sides are covered and let it drip for a sec.

Step 6
Place the moist bread inside your pan and fry until perfection. You want your French toast a little golden/brown, but not burnt. Flip it so you cooked both sides.

Step 7
Place your French toast on a plate, ready to be served. You can add whatever toppings you like, I usually just put syrup and maybe powdered sugar. Now enjoy!
