If you love crepes and would love to make crepes, you have come to the right place. Crepes are basically a thin form of pancake. In this following article we will show you how to make crepes quickly and easily.

Ingredients you will need:

1 cup of flower

3 eggs

2 cups of milk

Oil and salt (salt is optional)

Tools we will need:

Non sticky frying pan

Spatula

Whisk

Step 1

Add all the ingredients in a bowl. Using the whisk, mix them properly and make sure there is no lump left. Refrigerate it for about half an hour.

Step 2

Add little oil on the frying pan and turn the stove on to medium heat. Wait until the pan heats up.

Step 3

Pour approximately ¼ cup of batter that you have created in step 1 and swirl the pan so that the mix will cover the entire pan surface.

Step 4

Wait until the bottom of the crepe starts to harden. Flip it over once you see it’s brown enough and ready for the other side to be cooked. Once the both sides are fried properly, take it out and put it on a plate.

Step 5

Keep it continue until you have enough. You may need to use little oil every 4th or 5th crepe. You can place crepes on top of each other. It will keep them warmer.

Step 6

There are many ways to server crepes. But the basic crepe making process has already been discussed. You can serve warm crepes with a drizzle of maple syrup or spread with jam. If you want to server crepe as desert, make a wrap out of them and fill them up with fresh fruits or ice cream. Don’t forget to sprinkle with some confectioner sugar at the end.

Putting in contact lenses can be tricky for first few times but after a while you will get used to it. In this brief article we will discuss how to put in contacts in your eyes.

Step 1

Wash your both hands properly whether you are putting in contact lenses or taking them out.

Step 2

Assuming this is your first time wearing contact lenses. Take out 2 matching contact lenses from your lens box and peel the back of them carefully. While peeling the sealed layer make sure to keep the curve side downward.

Step 3

Use the tip of your right index finger to take out left eye lens.

Step 4

Use your left index finger to raise your left eyelid and try to keep your eye open as much as possible.

Step 5

While your left hand is helping to keep your right eye open, using your right index finger bring the lens close to your right eye. Make sure not to drop the lens or get it flipped.

Step 6

Pull down the under eye skin a little bit with your right finger while you attempt to put the contact in your eye.

Step 7

Carefully place the contact on the center of your pupil. Once the lens is on its place, blink few times to bring the lens exactly where it is suppose to be. The shape of your pupil matches the shape of the lens.

Step 8

Reverse the above directions for your other eye.

We humans are always fascinated by levitation from centuries. While many questioned the real levitation process, no one has ever doubted the magical levitation. In this article we will discuss 2 different ways to levitate yourself in the air.

How to levitate (method 1 used by David Blaine):

Step 1

Stand in front of your audience keeping your back towards them. Make sure your audience can only see you at 45 degree angle and your back of your left foot.

Step 2

Step on your right toes and lift your right heel in the air. At the same time, you should be able to lift your entire left foot of the ground. While lifting the left foot, make sure the back of the right foot heel is being lifted at the same time to give the perfect illusion to audience.

How to levitate (method 2 used by Chris Angel):

Step 1

Cut a pair of pant (only one side) in the front from top to bottom.

Step 2

Take a tape and attach a single pair of shoe with the bottom of that cut side of the pant.

Step 3

Use a sting to tie the both shoes together, even the one you are going to wear. You can use shoe string from the step 2 since you will not going to wear that shoe to do this magic trick.

Step 4

Stand in front of audience keeping your back towards them wearing the pant you have just created. Make sure you have something in front of you to step on while you are going to perform the magic.

Step 5

Put your foot (the one with fake shoe) on the tool or chair for support and lift your other foot in the air. While you are lifting you real foot in the air, it will also lift your fake foot with shoe. It will give audience the illusion that you are putting together your both feet and levitate yourself in the air.

Pineapple is one of those fruits that can be a little bit tricky to cut. In this article we will explain how to cut a pineapple from beginning and avoid the entire prickly exterior.

There are few things you will need to cut a fresh pineapple:

A pineapple

Cutting board

Sharp knife (no a meet cutting knife)

Rubber gloves

Step 1

Wear your rubber gloves and rinse the pineapple you are about to cut and slice. Even though the pineapple has thick layer of skin and you will take off all the skin eventually, it is a healthy choice to wash the fruit before you cut it. Because, your knife will have to touch the skin of pineapple which may contains lots of germs.

Step 2

Lay the pineapple on the cutting board side wise, parallel to the board.

Step 3

Cut off the top and bottom portion of the fruit. The amount you can cut off depends on the pineapple but for a typical pineapple you can easily take off 3/4 inch from stem(top) and slip(bottom).

Step 4

Stand the pineapple upright at this step to prepare for skin slicing. It should stand steady since its top and bottom were just been taken off.

Step 5

Trim the skin of the pineapple by following its natural curve. Use the knife to cut pineapple skin from top to bottom. Again, there is no exact measurement of how much skin you need to be taken off. But ¼ to ½ inch is a typical thickness of skin is ideal. Continue all around of the fruit until all the skins are removed.

Step 6

Rinse the freshly peeled pineapple with cold water in case any leftover residue.

Step 9

Stand the pineapple upright again. This time we will cut the pineapple at the middle from top to bottom. Once you have 2 big chunks of pineapple slices, cut them lengthwise few times until they are 2 to 3 inches thick. Cut the inner edge (the core is paler than the flesh pineapple) of those slices.

Step 10

Finally, slices those long cut pineapple pieces into small squares and served them on a clean plate.

Sweet potatoes can be a great food item in holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas etc. You can now bake yummy sweet potatoes by following this simple recipe.

Step 1

Fill a large saucepan with water. Add sweet potatoes in the saucepan and put it on the stove.

Step 2

Turn the stove on to boil the sweet potatoes. Boil them for 8 minutes or so and then turn the stove to medium heat and boil for another 10-15 minutes.
Step 3

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. During this preheating period you can peel those boiled potatoes. You can even slice them into small pieces if you prefer. Add all the potatoes in a casserole dish that is safe for oven.

Step 4

This is the part where we will add some flavor to the sweet potatoes. Take a medium saucepan and heat up a small amount of brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon and 3 table spoons of butter. Cook this mix for a minute and pour it over the sweet potatoes.

Step 5

Put the casserole dish with sweet potatoes in the oven and cook for 20 minutes or so.

Step 6

Take them out using oven mitts and let them cool down for few minutes before they are ready for serving.

Baked chicken is one of the healthy ways to server chicken. The recipe we are about to discuss in this article is on how to bake a chicken in simple and easy way. You can either bake a whole chicken or parts of chicken but the process is same.

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degree.

Step 2

Add little bit of olive oil on the pan that you will use for baking the chicken. The size of baking pan depends on how big the chicken is. For a typical size chicken, a 9 x 13-inches baking pan should be large enough.

Step 3

Add the chicken in the banking pan on top of oil you have just added. It is best to leave the skin on of the chicken for baking. If you are baking a whole chicken, you need to remove the giblets from the cavity. Once you have done that rinse the chicken under cool water and dry with paper towels.

Step 4

It is time to add some spices to your chicken. Sprinkle some chopped garlic, rosemary, salt and a little bit of pepper on the chicken.

Step 5

Pour little more oil on the top of the all the ingredients you have just added. Put the chicken inside heated oven and set the timer for an hour. If you are only baking few chicken breasts, 30 minutes cooking time should be enough.

Step 6

Let the chicken bake for 1-1.5 hour until the skin is golden brown and meat is cooked. You can use a thermometer to check if it is cooked enough. Thermometer reading for a well cooked chicken breast is 170 and 180 degrees for thighs.

Step 7

Take out the chicken once it is cooked well using oven mitts.

Step 8

Let the chicken cool down for 10 minutes before it becomes ready for serving.

Tying a tie is not as hard as you think. Double knots or Windsor knot for tie uses one more knot than regular tying which makes it more stable and fuller. In the following article we will learn how to tie a tie using Windsor knot by step by step.

Step 1

Lift up your shirt collar and put the tie around back of your neck. Keep the wide end of the tie on the side of you dominant hand (if you are right-handed, wide end goes on the right side. If you are left-handed, wide side goes on the left side.). The wide end needs to be hanged twice much in length than the narrow end.

Step 2

How to tie a Windsor knot (step 2)

Cross the wide end once over the narrow end keeping the front side of the tie outer. Make sure you keep few inches distance from your neck to the tie.

Step 3

How to tie a Windsor knot (step 3)

Bring the wide end up through the V shape loop between the collars (from back).

Step 4

How to tie a Windsor knot (step 4)

Wrap the wide side around the knot from dominant to non-dominant hand side. Continue to wrap it until you finish a full loop and the wide end is on the front.

Step 5

How to tie a Windsor knot (step 5)

Now, slide the wide end of the tie through the front to back like shown in the image.

Step 6

How to tie a Windsor knot (step 6)

Bring the wide end from back and wrap it again around the knot.

Step 7

How to tie a Windsor knot (step 7)

After one loop the wide end should be in the back which will give you the opportunity to bring the end to front under the last knot (sort of tuck it in) you have just created.

Step 8

Pull the wide end down gently once you tuck it in under the loop at the end of previous step. Make sure the knot is tight and not falling apart.

Step 9

Hold the narrow end of the tie in one hand and use other hand to pull the tie knot up in order to make it more stable and close the gap between your neck and the tie loop.

Step 10

You have tied a Windsor knot. Do not forget to flip your collar down at the end.

Fried rice is very simple to make but delicious food item that most of us like. It can served as main entree or side dish. In this brief recipe tutorial we will discuss how to make fried rice with egg.

Ingredients you will need:

Cooked rice

Olive oil/Coconut oil

Minced garlic

Minced ginger

Green onion/chopped meat/pieces of chicken/shrimps (optional)

Choice of vegetable

Spice like salt, paper, cumin etc.

Step 1

At the beginning you need to cook rice. You can use any type of rice but fine, little scented rice will give it much more flavor. You can use a simple rice cooker to cook rice. You do not need to cook rice again if you already have leftover rice that you are planning to use for fried rice.

Step 2

We will need good quality coconut butter oil or olive oil to cook fried rice. Add few table spoons (depending on how much friend rice you are about to cook) of oil on the frying pan and turn the stove on to medium heat. Keep an eye on the oil and make sure not to heat it high enough to create smoke.

Step 3

Add minced garlic and ginger to the warm oil. The amount is entirely up to you based on your taste buds and amount of rice.

Step 4

Add all the cooked rice from step 1 to the pan. You will need at least 2 cups of cooked rice at this point. Feel free to make more but all your other ingredients have to be more too.

Step 5

Fry rice until it turns light brown. You can add sliced green onions, chopped meat, and pieces of chicken or even shrimps to add more flavour to your fried rice.

Step 6

Cook few scramble eggs at the middle of the pan or on a separate pan and mix them with the rice. You can use any type of eggs but organic eggs give fried rice the best taste.

Step 7

Add your favorite oriental veggies (peas, squarely cut carrot pieces) on top of egg friend rice. Finally, add some spice like salt, paper, or cumin according to your taste.
